Erin Bailey-Van Gilder

Erin Van Gilder is a Cherokee Nation citizen with roots in Lost City and Wagoner communities. Mrs. Van Gilder has a Master’s degree in English from Northeastern State University and currently holds several credentials as a grant professional, including a Certified Grant Professional through the Grant Professionals’ Association (GPA) and a Certified Grant Writer through American Grant Writer’s Association (AGWA).

She has over 14 years of experience in providing training and technical assistance as an educator and grant coordinator within the Cherokee Nation reservation. Erin has served the Cherokee Nation for 8 years and is an expert in grant funding research, project planning and development, and application development, as well as, policy and procedure development. Currently, Mrs. Van Gilder manages the Grant Development unit of Grant Services and safeguards the preparation and successful submission of an average of 150 grant applications a year on behalf of Cherokee Nation and its departments.

Erin currently serves as the Vice President for the GPA – Oklahoma Chapter of grant professionals and is a Board Member of the Grant Professionals Foundation. She is a traveling enthusiast, often adventuring through National Parks with her husband and family. Erin enjoys hanging out with her dogs and reading in her spare time.
