Grant Services is comprised of three branches: Grant Development, Grant Management, and Grant Support. Grant Development coordinates, reviews, and submits applications for external funding. Grant Management oversees reporting, compliance, and audit requirements for awarded funds. Grant Support identifies funding opportunities and provides monitoring and technical assistance to support successful grant implementation. The Grant Services department serves internal Cherokee Nation departments and programs with the goal of increasing their chance of success when applying for funds, and ensuring their awarded funds are managed in accordance with applicable regulations. The Grant Services team assists with applying for and managing hundreds of millions of dollars every year for the Tribe.
