On April 4, 2023, Chief Chuck Hoskin Jr. and Deputy Chief Bryan Warner announced the creation of the Task Force on the Cherokee Nation Autism Initiative.

An executive order was signed to create the Task Force to continually review existing services and resources
that enhance the tribe's efforts to serve individuals and families impacted by autism.

To better understand the perspective of our citizens, families and communities, the task force has developed two quick surveys to help guide the recommendations to tribal leadership for enhanced autism initiatives.
If you are a caregiver of an individual with autism, please take a moment to complete the Caregiver Survey

If you are a community member passionate about the expansion of services and resources available to patients and families within the Cherokee Nation Health Services system, please take a moment to complete the Community Member Survey
