Jennifer “Jenny” Kliest is a proud citizen of the Cherokee Nation. She enjoys her career as a dental hygienist, helping to bring a smile to the tribal members in her community. She provides essential preventive care, educating patients about oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular check-ups. After graduating from UAFS with her Bachelor’s in Dental Hygiene, she began working at Wilma P. Mankiller Health Center in her hometown of Stilwell, Oklahoma.
Jenny lives with her husband and childhood sweetheart, Jerome, and their two dogs: Simon and Skia. In her spare time, she enjoys reading thriller books, trying new recipes, and visiting with her very large family. She participated in the 2025 Remember the Removal ride as a youth rider. She is grateful for this life changing opportunity to learn and grow. She hopes that by participating, she will contribute to the broader mission of preserving Cherokee heritage and inspire others to do the same.
