Whitney Warrior-Deerinwater

Whitney Warrior-DeerinwaterWhitney Warrior-Deerinwater was born in Tahlequah, OK and raised in Bunch, OK. Whitney is the President of the Greasy Community Fellowship Organization (since 2017). Whitney is enrolled with Cherokee Nation and also tribally affiliated with Creek and Absentee Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma and a member of Absentee Shawnee Grounds North Stomp Grounds. Whitney is married to Joel Deerinwater, member of Park Hill Boys.

Mrs. Warrior-Deerinwater began her career with Grant Development in October 2022. Whitney holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and one in Indigenous Law, as well as a Bachelor’s in Environmental Sciences. She has worked with grants for around 10 years at various tribal governments. She enjoys working with Cherokee Nation Grant Development. Whitney continues expand her knowledge about Cherokee Nation programs and departments and continues to seek training to benefit Commerce Services and the people.

Whitney spends her time outside of work participating in various activities, including officiating local sporting events and as a Professional Model and Actress, appearing in movies and tv shows like Reservation Dogs, Wildfire, Infamous, and Mekko; Professional Improv and Standup Comedian.
