This service is for individuals who are unable to utilize the commuter routes and do not qualify for Sooner Ride or Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) assistance. Destinations that qualify for Demand Response rides are: places of employment, governmental facilities, healthcare facilities, or financial institutions and grocery stores nearest to your pickup location. All buses are open to the public.
Riders are responsible for coordinating the pickup and drop off times with the transit provider in their area. All potential riders must provide a minimum of 72 hours (3 days) advance notice for scheduling purposes. This service is based upon availability. For purposes of documentation, Native American riders are requested to provide proof of Indian blood (tribal membership or Certified Degree of Indian Blood (CDIB)) upon pickup. Tribal employees that are not Native American are also requested to present their employee identification card/badge upon boarding.

Can Demand Response take me to my appointment in Tulsa since it was referred by Hastings?
Answer: The Demand Response Program discount is only within the Cherokee Nation boundaries. The full fare of the provider will be applied to any mileage outside the Cherokee Nation boundaries.
Can I use the Demand Response whenever I need it?
Answer: The Demand Response is in operation during the normal business days and hours of the provider. All riders must provide a minimum of 72 hours (3 days) advance notice for scheduling purposes.
I live in one service provider area but need to go to the next county, which provider do I call?
Answer: The service provider in your area of residence will be the one to contact for transit services.
