10 a.m. to 4 p.m. – Cherokee Nation hosts “The Saltworks of Sequoyah” exhibit at Sequoyah’s Cabin Museum, located at 470288 Highway 101 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. The exhibit highlights the saltworks operation that Sequoyah ran on Lee's Creek and how he ended up running his own salt operation due to the high demand. The exhibit runs through Jan. 21, 2019.
