Health Facilities Available within the Cherokee Nation
- Eight tribally owned and managed outpatient clinics and a mobile health unit
- Two Indian Health Service hospitals which also have outpatient service, W.W. Hastings Indian Hospital at Tahlequah , and Claremore Indian Hospital at Claremore
- An award-winning EMS facility operated by the tribe which provides ambulance service to Cherokee and Muskogee County , and offers a variety of courses for training emergency personnel
- The Jack Brown Center , a tribally managed, 20-bed co-educational facility for treatment of chemical dependency in Indian adolescents
- A number of field-service sites maintained by Cherokee Nation for auxiliary health programs such as WIC, Early Cancer Detection and Health Promotion/Disease Prevention education and outreach.
