Providing people throughout the Cherokee Nation a safe, efficient and cost-effective way to travel between our communities.


Roads
The mission of the Roads Program is to improve the quality of life for Indian families and communities by providing safe roads, better access to housing, schools, healthcare, business, and employment.


Engineering and Sanitation
The Cherokee Nation assists qualified applicants with sanitation facilities for new, like new or existing homes.


Environmental Health
The Office of Environmental Health ensures that Cherokee Nation facilities are operated in a safe and sanitary manner. The department also provides tribal citizens with services and information need to lead environmentally healthy lifestyles through inspections and investigations related to food, vectors, water and wastewater.


Self Help Housing Emergency Repair Assistance
The Self-Help Emergency Housing repair program will provide materials to partnership with Cherokee citizens that live within the 14-county service area for minor emergency home repairs. The homeowner is responsible to make the repairs. Cherokee Nation Housing and Infrastructure staff may provide technical assistance such as inspections and cost estimations.


COTTA
Community Organization Training and Technical Assistance-COTTA "Building One-Hundred Cohesive Communities Within Ten Years".


Community Youth Development
Community Services Youth Development is to increase community organizations, Cherokee citizenship and participation by exposing Cherokee youth to Cherokee communities and how they have survived and excelled through group or community actions.
