Adult Education Students study at their own pace and receive individualized and whole group instruction. - GED Preperation
Building Trades Program This Program provides training in basic building trades. Participants learn such occupations as carpentry, masonry, and electrical work. The program also instructs students on effectively competing for employment. The program works in conjunction with

Adult Vocational Training (AVT)
These programs provide supportive services and/or assistance to pay for tuition fees, and books for students who are attending vocational training or two year colleges.
Career Tech Grant Career Tech Grant is for students who need assistance to pay tuition. These grants may be used for a variety of occupational or technical trades and Associate of Applied Arts, or Applied Science degrees
Direct Employment (DE) The Direct Employment Program provides financial assistance for persons who have located employment at least 50 miles from their residence and who need assistance to access that employment.
Cherokee Nation Firedancers The Cherokee Nation Firedancers are now taking applications.
Literacy Center The mission of the Literacy Center is to promote a supportive, effective and culturally enriched environment, that will enhance our tribal communities by assisting individuals in becoming effective and independent lifelong learners.
NAVTEP The NAVTEP program provides vocational training opportunities in Business Technology, Child Care Occupations and Computer Technology.
On-The-Job Training (OJT) This program trains people in occupational trades. Participants will be trained in the public and private sector. The private sector will negotiate a training agreement with the WIA program for trainees.

2008 - Summer Career Leadership Program (SCLP) The Summer Career Leadership Program is for youth age 14 through 21, residing within the 14 county jurisdictional areas. Youth are placed in profit and non-profit organizations in the service are of the Cherokee Nation.
Tribal Employment Rights Office - TERO TERO monitors and enforces the Cherokee Nation Tribal TERO Ordinance to ensure employment rights are protected.
2008 Youth Leadership Intern Program The goal of the Youth Leadership Intern Program is to provide participants an opportunity to become familiar with the Cherokee Nation Tribal government and administrative functions.
Vocational Rehabilitation Program The Cherokee Nation Vocational Rehabilitation Program assists with the cost of training/retraining, for American Indians with disabilities, to acquire the skills needed to find or maintain gainful employment.
Work Experience Work Experience is a temporary or part-time assignment. This program encourages individuals to develop good work habits and basic work skills, which will promote employability.

Mobile Learning Unit (MLU) The Cherokee Nation Career Services Group provides Native Americans living in rural communities access to cutting edge technology through the use of a high-tech classroom on wheels called the Mobile Learning Unit.
Career Services The mission of the Career Services Group is to develop and encourage individuals to achieve and maintain work habits and skills that promote employability and self-sufficiency through programs that encompass education, training, rehabilitation, and supportive services.
Vocational and Educational Programs Career Services provides a multitude of programs to assist individuals with their educational and vocational training needs. In addition to programs for the general public, there are programs specific to housing residents, individuals with disabilities, and youth. We offer several in-house training programs as well as assistance in attending vocational training institutions and two-year colleges.
