What is SoonerCare?
SoonerCare can provide children ages 0-19 and pregnant women who meet eligibility and income guidelines with health benefits such as dental, vision, medical and pharmacy coverage.
A free insurance provided by the Oklahoma Health Care Authority;
Income is based on a 185% federal poverty level and no resources are considered;
SoonerCare does not affect you or your children from receiving health care from the clinic or tribal hospitals. Complete a two (2) page application. No face to face interview is required.
Assistance with applications is available at all Cherokee Nation clinic sites.
- What is QMB?
- Qualified Medicare Beneficiary. If you qualify for the QMB Program, your state will pay your monthly Medicare premiums.
- You will not have to pay the Medicare deductibles and co-insurance (this will save you money).
- What is SLMB?
- Specified Low-Income Medicare Beneficiary. If you qualify for the SLMB Program, your state will pay only your medical insurance (Part B) monthly premium.
- Qualifications
- Your income is limited and your resources do not exceed certain limitations.
