Volunteer Program

The Volunteer Program is responsible for reporting volunteer activity for the entire 14 county area of Cherokee Nation. There are a lot of volunteers who assist programs on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. It is imperative that these individuals be acknowledged for their volunteer service. Perhaps, acknowledgement of their volunteer service will inspire others to realize that they to could give a few hours of their time towards the overall effort of Cherokee Nation.

Some of the volunteer activity is being reported on individual group monthly reports. However, the Volunteer Program is responsible for reporting the overall volunteer activity and how it contributes to the achievement of operational performance. The Volunteer Program numbers will not be duplicating the count of volunteers, but will give the overall picture of volunteerism in the Cherokee Nation. The volunteer names I important because the Volunteer Program will have prizes and perks for the volunteers and we would want to ensure that your program's volunteers are included in this recognition.

There have been some wonderful and inspiring stories about volunteers and these are the things that make our efforts worthwhile. The Volunteer Program is very interested in hearing these stories about the accomplishments of volunteers. Your cooperation in this matter is greatly appreciated.
