Sequoyah High School’s small class sizes, dedicated staff and motivated students have produced remarkable advances in academic achievement in the past year.
The school’s ACT composite test score increased 1.2 points during the last testing cycle, as Sequoyah shifted its emphasis to communication technology, traditional art and culture and Indian leadership in addition to a strong core curriculum. Preliminary enrollment numbers indicate that word is getting out that Sequoyah is the place for young Indian leaders to learn.
