Cherokee National Youth Choir Seeks Alumni

        The award-winning Cherokee National Youth Choir will soon celebrate its 10 year anniversary and choir organizers would like to reach out to all alumni to update their contact information.
         Interested alumni are also invited and encouraged to perform with the Cherokee National Youth Choir at special events during the next year, as part of the anniversary celebration in 2010. A meeting will be held for all Youth Choir alumni on Saturday, November 21, at 10 a.m. in the Council Chambers of the Cherokee Nation tribal complex in Tahlequah to discuss the upcoming year’s choir event schedule.
          “We would like to get updated information from all of the alumni so we can get in touch with them regarding the 10th anniversary of the Cherokee National Youth Choir,” said Mary Kay Henderson, Youth Choir director. “It will also be helpful to have this information on file for all of our future events.”
