Sequoyah Schools to host Shock Practice September 3

TAHLEQUAH, Okla.—Sequoyah graduate Angel Goodrich and the Tulsa Shock will travel to Tahlequah for a team practice at noon Tuesday, Sept. 3, at The Place Where They Play gym.

“We are excited to have the Tulsa Shock and Sequoyah’s own Angel Goodrich returning to play for her biggest supporters,” said Marcus Crittenden, Sequoyah Schools’ athletic director. “Angel is an excellent role model for our students and an inspiration for student athletes, especially our girls. We are so proud of Angel’s accomplishments and grateful for her continued relationship with Sequoyah High School.”

The public and school groups are welcome to attend the free event.

The practice will be followed by a private autograph session for the Sequoyah basketball team in attendance with the Shock players. Sequoyah students will be given an autographed team picture. Tulsa Shock’s team mascot, Volt, will entertain the crowd.
