The Holiday All-Indian Tournaments - men's and women's fast pitch and slow-pitch - are scheduled from Aug. 31 through Sept. 2.

The tournaments will be played at the Sequoyah High School softball fields south of the Tribal Complex off Hwy. 62. Tournaments will begin at 6 p.m., Aug. 31, and at 9 a.m., Sept. 1 and 2.

Softball tournaments are open to teams representing all federally recognized tribes. Each player must have a Certificate of Degree of Indian Blood (CDIB) card and a photo identification card at registration. No exceptions allowed.

Team trophies will be awarded to the top four teams in each division. Players will receive jackets monogrammed with the softball holiday logo for first place, hooded sweatshirts for second place, crew sweatshirts for third place and T-shirts for fourth place.

Most valuable player awards will be given in each division. Entries are limited to 16 teams in each of the four divisions.

Entry fee is $185 per team, and the first 16 teams to pay their entry fees will be entered. Teams may pay one-half of the fees until Aug. 3. Full fee is required by Aug. 17. Any team not paying the full amount by deadline will forfeit any fees or partial fees paid.
