The Cherokee National Holiday Powwow is scheduled Aug. 31 and Sept. 1, at the Cherokee Cultural Grounds, south of the Crosswinds Golf Course.

Gourd dancing will be at 5 p.m., Aug. 31, and from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., Sept. 1.

The grand entry, social and contest dancing will begin each evening at 7:30 p.m, immediately after the gourd dancing.
