Drop Team Associate
The Count/Drop Team is directly responsible for accurately balancing bank at end of shift along with comparing and verifying information contained in drop boxes. Other responsibilities include counting and verifying other paper gaming and related items as needed along with cash and coinage. Operates within a team structure during the count operation and verifies various counts and bank balances with the Cage. Involved in sorting, weighing, counting and contents of game drop box. Counts and records other assets such as bill changers along with various gaming papers as directed. Ensures counting procedures follow established policies. Prepares money or coinage for deposit. Enters and stores various count information into computer system. Performs minor maintenance and calibration to equipment used for counting. Assures Casino assets are protected and promotes a positive team and customer service philosophy. Reports any suspicious activity to the immediate supervisor or security. Conducts self in a manner that reflects credit to the Cherokee Casino and encourages others to do the same. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
